The powder separator is an important part of the grinding equipment, and it is widely used in the coal mill, raw meal unloading drying mill and cement mill system in the new dry process cement production line. The working state of the powder separator directly affects the powder selection effect, resulting in uneven product particle thickness. Therefore, the daily maintenance of the powder separator is a relatively important link. This article introduces some common powder separator failures and troubleshooting methods.
Powder Separator
1. The gearbox is hot or smoking
Cause: The gear box lacks oil, the lubrication is poor, and the oil quality is poor. Overload use. The transmission body itself is faulty.
Solution: Improve lubricating oil or change oil. Control loads or improve drive design. According to the specific analysis and symptomatic treatment of oil burning, gluing, thermoplastic deformation, etc.
2. The gearbox produces vibration and noise
Cause: Poor tooth contact. Appropriate backlash, axial movement. The accuracy of the bevel gear is out of tolerance.
Solution: Adjust the contact surface. Adjust backlash to eliminate movement. Replace the bevel gear.
3. Bevel gear root crack or fracture
Cause: Poor tooth contact. Appropriate backlash, axial movement. The accuracy of the bevel gear is out of tolerance.
Solution: Adjust the contact surface. Adjust backlash to eliminate movement. Replace the bevel gear.
4. Gear thermoplastic deformation and gluing
Cause: poor lubrication, less oil. High speed overload.
Solution: Clean the fuel tank, change the oil and refuel. Control the speed, control the load or improve the design.
5. Serious pitting and spalling of gears
Cause: The bearing clearance is too large and the bearing wear is serious. Poor material or heat treatment.
Solution: Repair or replace the bearing. Improved materials, improved heat treatment. Control load.
6. Gear wear is serious
Cause: Poor protection seal. The oil quality is not good, there are impurities in the oil. Material is not good.
Solution: Strengthen the protective seal. Clean and change oil. Choose wear-resistant materials.
7. Abnormal heating sound of rolling bearing
Cause: poor lubrication, serious wear due to lack of oil. The flange bolts at the horizontal shaft end are loosened and the sliding teeth are loosened. With loosening, the gap increases. The upper nut buckle slides the teeth.
Solution: Refuel in time and increase the amount of oil in a short time. Re-tapping, adding bolts. Removal and replacement repairs. Dispose of the shaft end, restart the wire, replace the nut.
8. The blades of the powder separator are damaged or fall off and the body swings
Cause: The blade quality is poor and the weight is inconsistent. The blade fixing bolts are loose. Improper installation, resulting in upward or downward deflection.
Solution: replace the blade, weigh and install it evenly. Check the bolts, and tighten the bolts with washers. Adjust the installation position.
9. The current of the powder separator suddenly increases
Cause: The lower or upper rolling bearing is burned out. The rising circle deforms, breaks and gets stuck. Mix large debris into the feed and plug the spout on the spreader pan. The large nut at the lower end of the vertical shaft is loose, and the hub of the bulk material pan is lowered.
Solution:: Check and replace the bearing. Check and replace bulge. Remove clutter. Tighten the large nut.
Common fault: vibration of fan bearing seat.
10. The two shafts of the fan and the motor are not concentric
Cause: Impeller imbalance. Incorrect position of fan inlet and outlet dampers. The base stiffness is not strong enough. The anchor bolts are loose. The fan impeller is dusty.
Solution: Correct the concentricity of the two axes. Correct the balance. Adjust the damper position. Strengthen the foundation and increase stiffness. Check the tightening bolts. After shutdown, open the maintenance door to clear the dust.
